Meet my man Chef Remix. Coming from a family of 8 siblings, big dinners was frequent in Chef Remix’s household. Remix showed talent in the kitchen while shadowing his mother on her Sunday adventures. From cleaning chicken to de-boning fish he was picking up on skills he would need later on. Those skills would come to light during his college years at Virginia state university. One Sunday, his barber called to ask him for guidance on a meal to cook and the “Chef” was born. Barbecue Chicken was the meal and the rest is history. Beginning to focus in on this new drive to cook, Remix began to learn and understand the art of cooking. Starting his catering company out of his apartment, “Remix Kitchen” was created. Once a week Remix Kitchen was a place to be for students to come socialize and enjoy great food. Since then, Remix has been able to share his passion with people such as Sway Calloway from “Sway in the Morning”, Radio personality Cam Cooper, Walt from VH1’s Black Ink Crew NY, Virginia State University Interim President Pamela Hammond and a host of other. As his catering business continues to grow there’s no boundaries that will go untouched.

1 tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon juice

1 tablespoon of fresh squeezed lime juice

1 tablespoon of fresh squeezed orange juice

2 tablespoons maple syrup

3 tablespoons of Bourbon

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 (6-ounce) skinless salmon fillets

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
