Rapper and entrepreneur Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has publicly expressed his love/hate relationship with Oprah Winfrey.  Now the hip-hop mogul has agreed to have a  sit-down with the talk show diva on “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” which airs this Sunday at 9 p.m., EST, on the OWN cable network.

When 50 Cent appeared on the talk show “The View,” he revealed that he named his pet dog Oprah, whom he refers to as “Oprah Winfree, 50 Cent’s Bitch” on the pet’s Twitter site. (has 12k followers)  50 says Oprah inspired the name he gave his dog because he didn’t like her, even though he had never previously met her personally. In 2006, 50 Cent criticized Oprah for her lack of guest diversity.  His dislike was fueled by a rumor that she did not like his genre of music. Oprah reportedly had a rapper ban on her old show.

Oprah then went on the Ed Lover radio show and claimed the rumors were not true. “I listen to some hip-hop. You know, I’ve been accused of not liking hip-hop, and that’s just not true. I got a little 50 on my iPod. I really do.”

Oddly enough, 50 Cent claims he “loves” Oprah Winfrey now that he has met her. During the interview they will discuss topics like love, the rap culture, fatherhood, spirituality, and Jackson’s upbringing.  The interview took place at the home of “Fiddy’s” grandmother.
