These NFL players are still wildin’ out. Cincinnati Bengals running back Cedric Benson was cuffed early this morning (July 17th) and charged with assault causing bodily injury to a family member.

According to TMZ, Cedric was booked by Austin PD at 6:42 AM. He was charged with a Class A misdemeanor. He’s still in custody but is suppose to go before a magistrate at some point today.

Cedric is no stranger to trouble. He was arrested twice in 2008 for DUI which caused the Chicago Bears to axe him from the team (although both charges where eventually dropped). The Bengals obviously have been having trouble adjusting with the lockout still in effect. Adam Jones was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest last weekend and Safety Marvin White was arrested on Thursday for assault.
