Floyd Mayweather has been a controversial figure in the boxing world, but he’s making an effort to give back to the community and spread love for his sport this summer.

The boxing star will host three week-long sessions for 150 boys and girls in Las Vegas, all free of charge.  The campers will be instructed using floor exercises, shadow boxing, speed bags and heavy bags.

Mayweather’s management team will also give the campers life lessons about how to be successful outside of the boxing ring.

“Giving back to this community and providing opportunities for youth to stay active and gain new skills is very important to me,” said Mayweather. “It is also one of the goals of The Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation. The Mayweather Boxing Club Summer Camp is a chance for these kids to learn the fundamentals of boxing, as well as the important life lessons that come with participation in sports.”
