Brittany Banks known professionally as BBX, is an American singer/songwriter, actress, artist, dancer and model. Born and raised on the outskirts of Richmond, Virginia. She discovered her love for the arts at an early age.

In 2003 at age 12, inspired by her grandmother, Elsie May Early, BBX began auditioning for talent agencies.

She soon found work and popularity working as a freelance model. Over time her love for music outweighed all of her other interests.

Instantly captivated by the belting of Whitney, intrigued by Rihanna’s ability to be soft and powerful along with Beyonce’s iconic vocal range and infamous rifts and runs, her influences include music industry leaders like Stevie Wonder, Micheal Jackson, Whitney Houston, Selena, Jimmy Hendrix, Bob Marley, Rihanna and Beyoncé.

BBX’s love for singing/songwriting first started with the children’s church choir at the age of eight. Often shy, she saved her early performances for the shower or any quiet room with high ceilings.

The inspiration is endless when it comes to her writing about life’s troubles, the struggles of love and the positive factors in everything given to us. Today, we see a growing artist that is eager to use her voice to inspire the world and to touch the hearts of many.
