Auditions for American Idol are coming to Richmond!
iPower partnered with our friends at ABC Channel 8 News for the “RVA Idol” contest. Talented performers from all around sent in audition material and five finalists were selected to do an in-studio performance before a small studio audience. iPower’s Jackie Paige and Channel 8’s Juan Conde teamed up to judge the competition.

The winner, Sean Ryan, was awarded a ticket to sing for American Idol producers for a chance to appear on the show. The other contestants were given special tickets that allow them to go to the front of the line when the tour comes to town.
The Idol bus rolls through RVA on September 3, 2018 and the auditions will be held at Main Street Station, 1500 E Main St in Richmond.
