1. Even More Entrepreneurs Came Through

The room was once again filled with people building businesses, creating opportunities and making moves throughout Richmond.

Part 2 brought out entrepreneurs from different industries, giving everyone an opportunity to meet someone new and learn what they do.

2. K Samone Helped Set The Tone

K Samone hosted Part 2 and kept the energy moving throughout the evening.

With conversations happening throughout the room, she helped make sure the night stayed focused on what the Social Series is all about: connecting Richmond’s Black Business community.

3. Networking Was the Main Event

This wasn’t your typical networking event where you grab a business card and head home.

People were actually talking, introducing themselves, learning about different businesses and making connections.

And this time, there was an incentive to make sure nobody stayed in their corner.

4. The More You Networked, the Better Your Chances Got

Here’s where things got interesting.

Attendees were encouraged to network as much as possible, because their connections could help them win tickets.

Instead of simply sitting back and watching the night unfold, people had a reason to get up, introduce themselves and meet somebody new.

5. Then Came the Karaoke Contest

Once the networking was underway, it was time to see who could bring their best karaoke performance.

And let’s just say Richmond showed up ready to sing.

The karaoke contest brought plenty of laughs, personality and friendly competition to the night.

The competition wasn’t just about bragging rights.

Attendees had a chance to win tickets, making the karaoke contest one of the most memorable moments of the night.

It was another fun way to bring people together while keeping the energy high.

7. Entrepreneurs Got a Chance to Tell People What They Do

One of the biggest benefits of the Social Series is giving entrepreneurs a platform to talk about their businesses.

Whether you’re launching something new, growing an established business, or looking for your next customer or collaborator, getting in front of the right people matters.

8. New Connections Were Made

That’s really what the night was about.

Someone you met at the Social Series could become your next customer, business partner, collaborator, referral or friend.

You never know what can come from simply introducing yourself and starting a conversation.

9. The Black Business Community Continues to Grow

Part 2 showed that there is a real desire for spaces where Richmond’s Black entrepreneurs can come together.

More people showed up, more conversations happened and more connections were made.

And that’s exactly why we’re continuing the series.
