With all the cuteness that Blue Ivy brought to the MTV VMAs, does she really have to be subjected to scrutiny over her hair?
Chris Brown’s girlfriend Karrueche Tran came under fire yesterday after she made a comment about the 2-year-old on live television, but she’s saying it’s not her fault.
It all happened during BET’s 106 & Park, where Karrueche was serving as a guest host of the day. During one of the segments they did a top six list of things that Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy thought about during the MTV Video Music Awards and Karrueche said:
I really did wake up like this because my parents didn’t comb my hair. Sorry Blue! I love you!
She took to Twitter to say it wasn’t her who came up with the joke
Now y’all know I LOVE me some Beyoncé and Blue Ivy!

That joke was in such poor taste and it’s unfortunate that Karrueche didn’t have enough balls to say “I’m sorry but I’m not saying that about a child,” If BET (a Black Entertainment Network) can make jokes about Blue’s hair on their flagship show, then why not Fox News? It is an uproar when other races are insensitive to black natural hair, but it’s okay when we talk about our own.
No it’s not, and it’s embarrassing.
