A Virginia couple has been charged with first degree murder and attempted capitol murder after police found the remains of one of their children buried in the backyard of their trailer home. Not only that, they also found a little girl caged, malnourished and eating her own flaking skin.
Police were serving Shannon and Brian Gore a warrant at their address stemming from a burglary investigation and that’s when they found the child and the other child’s remains. The little girl is believed to be either 5 or 6 and she was found in a crib that was converted into a makeshift cage in a darkened bedroom.
The girl was found naked, malnourished, covered in feces and eating the flaked skin from off her body. Police later found the human remains of another child buried in the backyard.
Shannon and Brian Gore both remain behind bars.
