Rap legend Nas and R&B star Kelis are officially no more, as a California judge finalized the couple’s divorce on Friday.
Though the two are no longer married, many issues in the ugly divorce remain unsettled, including the custody rights to the couple’s son and the spousal support Nas may have to pay his ex-wife.
The couple had been married since 2005, and started dating two years before they tied the knot. Kelis filed for divorce last year, citing irreconcilable differences.
Nas, though, has been vocal about his anger during the divorce proceeding, claiming that Kelis prevented him from seeing their son, Knight, in July of last year, shortly after he was born and just as the divorce process began.
