Congratulations to Virginia State Alumni, Shaquana Williams (@shaq_will -Class of 09’) and Andrew Robotham (@drew430 -Class of 07’), the two were just married this past Friday, September 2nd at the Gramercy at Lakeside Manor in New Jersey.
Their wedding literally sent the social media world buzzing during and post wedding, with images highlighting the creativity and unique coordination of the cool wedding hashtag #shaqanddrewsayido, to the beautiful #bridehive bridal party and handsome groomsmen and the big eye catcher….the fabulous wedding dress and post reception jumpsuit that the bride wore.
And through all of the social media excitement, one thing was for sure, the Bride, Groom and many of their guests made sure they represented the love that they had for their alma mater Virginia State University.
Selina Howard, also a VSU alum and owner of @vaingloriousbrides, the wedding planner for Shaquana and Drew’s wedding stated
“This was definitely the hottest wedding of the year! The amount of love and support that everyone has for them was apparent just from the social media images and I believe it was contagious. The strong sense of family that we all love so much at VSU played an important role in this wedding. As fellow alums, we clicked immediately and their VSU family showed up and made sure we were all back at The Civic one more time. DJ Expo took us there”
