\"I was the kid that knew every word to EVERY song on the radio.\"
Play\'s love for music began at an early age when he was able to memorize song lyrics at a very fast rate.
This eventually led him to showcase his own talents in school choirs and rapping in talent shows.
Fast forward to college where he graduated from \"THE\" Virginia State University as a Mass Communications major (Go TROJANS!)
He started his radio career working as a broadcast writer for WVST and moved on to eventually work under many other radio stations such as WRVQ, and WVAI.
Play first got his chance on the mic in 2012 and he hasn\'t put it down since.
