Family and friends of John Witherspoon came together at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, California to pay respect to the comedy legend. One of the most memorable speeches of the day came from Shawn Wayans where he spoke about NBC not wanting John Witherspoon to play “Pops” during the pitching stages for the hit show “The Wayans Brother”.
