Police have reportedly searched the home of Sherra Wright, the ex-wife of NBA player Lorenzen Wright.
Authorities say Sherra was the last person to see the former Cleveland Cavalier before he was found dead and riddled with bullets July 28.
According to MyEyeWitnessNews.com, police searched her home Sunday looking for evidence in connection with their homicide investigation.
MEWN also reports that investigators did a lengthy search of a backyard grill and fire pit after neighbors told police they had seen smoke coming from the backyard the night Lorenzen Wright went missing and thought it strange because it was one of the hottest nights of the summer.
An attorney for Sherra Wright says she was approached by three gun toting men looking for the former basketball player six weeks before his death.
She has yet to be formally named a suspect in his murder.
A 911 call has reportedly surfaced of Wright using an expletive before at least ten gun shots are heard in the background.
