Day ‘N’ Nite rapper Kid Cudi was arrested on Friday after a few drinks and getting a little rowdy at a woman’s Chelsea apartment in Manhattan, NY at about 4:15 a.m., according to reports.
Kid Cudi born Scott Mescudi, 26, allegedly tore the woman’s door off the hinges and then smashed her cell phone against a wall.
It is uncertain what the alleged fight was about, but the hip hop artist is stated to have been intoxicated. In addition to be intoxicated, the authorities allegedly found a glassine (air and water resistant paper) envelope in his front pocket.
Kid Cudi was charged with possession and felony criminal mischief. The rapper luckily managed to make it to his gig at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Tennessee Saturday morning from 2:00 AM – 2:45 AM on the That Tent stage after which he was followed by B.O.B.
