Floyd Mayweather Ending Retirement at 49

Nine years after retiring undefeated, Mayweather revealed he plans to resume his professional boxing career following his upcoming spring 2026 exhibition with Mike Tyson.
According to ESPN, the 49-year-old has signed an exclusive deal with CSI Sports/Fight Sports to promote the next chapter of his career. Mayweather says he still has what it takes to break more records and generate the biggest gates and global audiences in boxing.
“I still have what it takes,” Mayweather said in a statement, adding that no one can match the revenue or reach of his events.
