“If Jay wanna come through and do something, he can come holla at me.”

A LOT has changed since Roc-A-Fella maintained its foot on the neck of the music industry and an invitation from Dame Dash to Jay-Z doesn’t seem like an RSVP will be sent.

With Dash re-launching his former record label, with Curren$y serving as the highlight for the new decade, he has stated that he would be willing to link up with Jay once again and is letting the negativity of the past be just that.

“I ain’t got no beefs with Jay,” said Dash, speaking with MTV. “Just off the strength that it’s Roc-A-Fella, I could never tell Jay he can’t be a part of something he helped create.”

Contrary to the rapper’s prior perspective on Dame’s involvement with the brand, he feels that no one should ever be exiled from something that he/she helped to build.

“So maybe it felt ridiculous that he said [me and Biggs couldn’t be a part of Roc-A-Fella once we sold the company] and a Roc-A-Fella purists didn’t appreciate that. If I walked away from Roc-A-Fella, then that would be different. But the option should always be there. So the option is there for him. He helped build that.”

Looking to make history again, Dame is trying to approach things in an adult manner and leave the childish games for the youngsters.

“And I don’t hold grudges. I think one of the most important things in evolving is forgiveness. If he did something wrong or if I did something wrong, we’d have to forgive each other, or we’d still be children.”

Although it’s highly doubtful that Jay will actually take the offer, with his career where it’s at now, it wouldn’t be that bad of an idea to at least consider.  If anything, Roc Nation could need a little extra push as a brand as Jay can’t handle each and every aspect.
