A$AP Rocky Hit with $1 Million Lawsuit Over Alleged Condo Water Damage

According to The Independent, the complaint names Rocky — real name Rakim Athelaston Mayers — as well as contractor ADE Pro Painting, the building’s condo board, and the rapper’s business manager, Tyson Beem, who oversees the trust that owns his 4,800-square-foot home.
The alleged damage occurred last December when water leaked from Rocky’s Unit 5N into Unit 4NF, a $6.5 million apartment directly below. The flooding reportedly destroyed furniture, clothing, and fixtures totaling at least $700,000. The residents also claim to have spent roughly $200,000 on temporary housing and other related expenses.
The lawsuit describes “severe destruction” to walls, floors, ceilings, and electrical systems, saying the space remains uninhabitable. A representative for ADE Pro Painting told The Independent that they signed an NDA with the rapper and could not comment further but added that their company was also affected and had not been fully paid for its services.
Neither A$AP Rocky nor his legal team have issued a public statement regarding the lawsuit. For now, the Harlem-born star’s opulent condo — complete with custom oak floors, a private elevator, and a designer lighting setup — has become the center of a costly legal battle over what was once a simple renovation project gone wrong.
