Three weeks ago, Bad Boy Entertainment founder Sean “Diddy” Combs was remanded into custody following his conviction on two counts of violating the Mann Act — despite being acquitted of the more serious human trafficking and RICO charges.

Now, his legal team — led by Marc Agnifilo and Teny Geragos — has submitted a new bail package proposal to Judge Arun Subramanian, arguing that Diddy should not remain behind bars while awaiting his October 3 sentencing.

In documents obtained by TMZ, Diddy’s attorneys point out that most people convicted under the Mann Act are typically released before sentencing. They stress that Diddy’s convictions stem from hiring adult male escorts for threesomes with his long-term girlfriend, not from any involvement with minors — framing the situation as part of what they called a “swinger lifestyle.”

The defense also argues that the Mann Act, which dates back to 1910, reflects outdated societal views on sex. They add that Diddy never had sexual relations with the escorts himself.

As part of the proposal, Diddy is offering:

  • $50 million bond backed by his Florida estate, co-signed by three “financially responsible” individuals
  • Residency at his Miami home
  • Restricted travel to the Southern District of Florida and Southern District of New York
  • Supervision by the U.S. Pretrial Services Agency
  • Surrender of his passport

His team says he’s even open to home detentionelectronic monitoringmental health and substance abuse treatment, and private security if needed.

Prosecutors, however, have already voiced opposition to Diddy’s release before sentencing — and the judge has yet to rule.

Whether the $50 million bail offer sways the court remains to be seen, but one thing’s certain: all eyes are on Judge Subramanian’s decision in the coming weeks.
