I have been wanting to try individual lashes for months now. But something about the price tag and maintenance just doesn’t sit right with me. In addition to it being out of my budget, I’m prone to styes and other skin issues around my eyes so I’ve been hesitant to commit to it. All of which is why I remained a strip lash gal, but even that hasn’t been fool-proof. I can never seem to get them just right and other times, they’ve fallen off mid-wear. After hearing my friends and sister’s advice, I recently received iEnvy’s cluster palette and decided to give it an honest try.

Cluster Lashes

I love how natural individual lashes look, which is due to their meticulous placement and how they’re applied to the bottom of the lash rather than the top lash line. Lash clusters allow you to achieve the same look with minimal effort and money. What I love most about cluster lashes is how you can personally customize your lash look and how long they last.

Since I already had all the supplies, iEnvy’s cluster lash palette, I found a DIY cluster lash tutorial on Youtube and gave it my best attempt. It was as simple as coating my own lashes with the Mascabond mascara glue, adding an extra layer of Twilight bond (I found this glue easier to apply with the longer brush) to the cluster lash and using the applicator to apply the cluster to the bottom of the lash.

I learned quickly that you can build your lash look by adding layers on top of one another and using different sizes to achieve your desired look. It looked great, but will it live up to the 14 days on the packaging? So far, I’m one night in and they’re still going strong.
