Rihanna’s 7 year old fan Jasmina Anema, who Rih has been helping to find a bone marrow transplant for, died from her leukemia last night. Rihanna has spent a lot of time with Jasmina over the past year, and so has Kelly Rowland, all to help her their #1 fan through this rough time. Here’s the message that was posted on her Twitter account just a few hours ago:
At 10:55 on January 27th, after a long battle, Jasmina lost her fight with leukemia. Thanks for all of your support.
Back in November, Jasmina went to surprise Rihanna on her album release day at an in-store signing. She was diagnosed with leukemia in January of 2009. Such sad news. R.I.P. Jasmina
