Last night, reports alleged that an Armed Man made his way to the Campus of Virginia State University.
And while little is known as to why the Man decided to take a stroll on the Yard with a Rifle in his backpack.
I can confirm that VSU took swift action in locking down the entire campus and delaying the scheduled Football Game. As to ensure the safety of ALL students and staff.
It is also alleged that the suspect, Kenny Edwards was taken into custody at his home without incident.
So this is the best possible outcome for all parties involved.
And as a VSU Alumni , 2 times over. I couldn’t be more proud of how my School handled yet another adversity. By maintaining the Schools safety. And ensuring another Black Man didn’t die, regardless of his crime.
