Rapper Cardi B recently released a song with Rita Ora, Bebe Rexha, and Charli XCX called “Girls”. The song was meant to be an anthem for bisexual women but instead, it caused an uproar within the LGBTQ community with members saying that the women used “bisexuality as a way to entice straight men.” Cardi’s verse on “Girls” talks about her experiences with women, and how she’s a “lipstick” and wanting a “kitten” instead of a “dog”. The terms were criticized by the LGBTQ community which caused the “Bodak Yellow” rapper to apologize saying that she didn’t “know the correct terms to use” in the song. Rita Ora apologized for the song lyrics as well saying that the lyrics “represent her truth.” Cardi also admitted to having several experiences with women, “I personally myself had experiences with other women, shieeett with a lot of women!” Cardi tweeted.
