Trey Songz is known for many things, but violent outbursts usually don’t make the list—that is until last night. The R&B crooner was performing at Detroit’s Joe Louis Arena when he was arrested for injuring a police officer after destroying the stage.

According to the Detroit Free Press the incident occurred towards the end of his performance around 11:30 p.m. Apparently, the Petersburg, V.A. native went a little too long with his set, and when he was told it was over he became upset and began tossing objects from the stage.
Detroit police approached the stage in an effort to calm Songz, when one of the officers was struck on the head.

Songz was arrested for resisting arrest and malicious destruction of property. The police officer suffered a concussion and has since been treated and released from the hospital.
