‘Empire’s’ New Couple?

Are “Empire” stars Trai Byers (Andre Lyon) and Grace Gealey (Anika “Boo Boo Kitty” Calhoun) dating? The duo was spotted at a friend’s wedding sparking rumors that they’re more than just family. According to sources, Trai and Grace were “affectionate” at times but “conscious that people were looking.”

In other “Empire” news, Jussie Smollett (Jamal Lyon) squashed rumors that there was drama brewing behind the scenes. “That’s all bullsh*t, 100% of it. We all love each other, period,” he said. That’s the least of “Empire’s” worries. Real life Empire CEO Ghazi Shami accused Twentieh Century Fox of “infringement.”

“This music shares the same search terms as EMPIRE’s music, the musical genres are identical, and the songs and albums are positioned in close proximity in online outlets such as iTunes, Google Play, Amazon.com, and Spotify. It isn’t just a fictional show; they are functioning as a record label in the real world,” he said in a statement.

“We are confident that this is a textbook trademark infringement case,” he added.

LEt’s hope they figure this all out before season 2.

Chris Brown Upgrades His Baby’s Mother

Having a baby by Chris Brown has some perks. According to reports, Breezy offered to move Nia Guzman (his baby’s mother) and his beautiful baby girl Royalty from Texas to the Hollywood Hills where he’ll pay their living expenses. Talk about a come up.

Breezy has been paying Nia more than the required amount of child support, but threatened to reduce the payments when she started talking about their relationship in the tabloids. If Nia decides to take his offer and move to Cali, he allegedly won’t take Nia to court for a fixed child support rate imposed by a judge that would be less than what he is paying her.

Sounds like a deal to us!

While Chris Brown is planning to upgrade Nia, his ex-girlfriend Karrueche is trying to find her way without him. She sat down with life coach Iyanla Vanzant for a special “positive” edition of “Fix My Life” that airs March 28th on OWN.

Evelyn Lozada Lands A Show On OWN

As ratchet as “Basketball Wives” could be at times, we had our favorite characters and Evelyn Lozada was definitely one of them. After appearing on “Iyanla: Fix My Life,” Evelyn opted for a more private life.

Now, after going through a public divorce with Ochocino and having a baby by Carl Crawford, the fitness fanatic is ready to make her realty TV return on OWN. According to Variety, the show will follow Evelyn and her daughter Shaniece while covering Ev’s “new found life, as a new mother again, while balancing the relationship with her daughter.”

“Evelyn” is scheduled to premiere this July.
