I was looking at CNN’s reporter Don Lemon Interview with Monique and he was saying “where have you been?’ She told him that the studio wanted her to campaign for the movie Precious over in France and she respectfully declined because the studio was not paying her to basically go do work. I feel you Monique. She said she was getting roles thrown at her after she won an oscar but they wont the rolls she thought were worth her time. She also mentioned that the director Lee Daniels Said she had to play ball but she didnt agree with that. She went to say she is going down the independent route now.
