Eudy Simelane, former star of South Africa’s acclaimed Banyana Banyana national female football squad, was found partially clothed in a creek in a park in Kwa Thema, on the outskirts of Johannesburg. Simelane had been gang-raped and brutally beaten before being stabbed 25 times in the face, chest and legs. What id Eudy do? She’s a lesbian woman.
Since Eudy’s untimely death in South Africa, brutal lesbian murders have been on the rise. This crime has been given a name–”corrective rape,” referring to “fixing” lesbian woman by brutally raping them straight. Yes, this is a thing.
Even Eudy’s mom is fearing her life because she doesn’t understand why he daughter’s lost her life.
