With the new season premiere of ‘American Idol’ just hours away, this year’s celebrity panel of judges are hot on the promotional trail campaigning for what just might the singing competition’s most viewed season in a very long time.
The ironic part about this season is the judges have already seemed to eclipse the level of talent that’s already auditioned and is set to hit the stage. Take for example the Nicki Minaj vs. Mariah Carey feud that sparked a few months ago during the early stages of the audition process.
According to Nicki Minaj, the “two big ol’ divas” on set are fine, but she’s “not looking forward to the live shows” simply because she’s worried that she can’t trust herself to be nice. Regardless of what happens, it looks like this is the season to watch and Nicki Minaj has more than enough reasons why we should be tuning in after stopping by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk about what actually went down during that shouting match after she took it upon herself to up the ante after hearing rumors that Mariah Carey didn’t want her on set.
