Grammy Award-winning singer/actress Brandy and R&B star Keyshia Cole have just been announced as the leading ladies scheduled to take the stage at the 2012 Black Girls Rock taping coming to BET this fall. Atlanta-bred singer, actress and model Ciara and also soul singer/songwriter India.Arie are additional key performers in this year’s edition of the show which continues to deliver defining moment for women of color around the world.
This year’s event will honor famed actress Kerry Washington, singer/songwriter and actress Alicia Keys and legendary diva Dionne Warwick for each of their individual career achievements as well as their philanthropic activities worldwide.
Black Girls Rock tapes on October 13th at New York City’s Loews Paradise Theatre and is set to air November 4th at 8PM on BET.
Actresses Tracee Ellis Ross and Regina King will serve as hostesses of the show for the second consecutive year in a row. Will you be watching?
