In an interview with Bossip Dawn confirmed that she is still working with Diddy. Diddy did agree to release her from the label for that she can work on solo career.
“Puff has been really great with being supportive of me starting a solo career, and he’s agreed to let me go from Bad Boy. I’m really grateful to him. He didn’t have to do that” said Dawn.
It took Mase 10 years to get out his Bad Boy contract with Diddy. Luckily for Dawn she didn’t have to wait that long.
Dawn has just released a track called, “Change”. In the song she sings about how she needs to stop taking her man for granted. Can’t wait to see what else the “contract free” artist can come up with.
