Former NY Giants linebacker and NFL Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor was sentenced to six years probation yesterday (March 22nd). In a plea deal, he pled guilty to one count of patronizing a prostitute and one count of sexual misconduct. These charges stem from Lawrence being accused of paying a 16-year-old girl who was a runaway for sex.
The young lady accusing him of rape appeared in court with a lawyer and told reporters she thought Taylor should have gone to jail.
Although he doesn’t have to spend any time in jail, he was hit with a $1,400 fine and has to register as a sex offender. Hope he can pay that fine, ya’ll know he can’t pay his child support.
