Favre’s Sister’s Mug Shot Is Here
While Brett Favre seems to have finally called it quits, his younger sister Brandi apparently hasn’t.
The 34-year-old sibling of the Hall of Fame quarterback was arrested January 9th along with 5 others in a condominium complex in Diamondhead, Mississippi where police discovered a meth lab.
Hancock County authorities observed a drug deal at a gas station and the suspects questioned led them to the condo. The director of Narcotics in Hancock County, Major Matt Karl described the chemical smell in the condo as “overwhelming,” causing officials to evacuate seven neighboring units, according to WLOX.
Karl said officers are “very familiar” with Brandi and that she was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Brett is no stranger to controversy, taking the NFL on an annual roller coaster ride through possible retirement since 2008, and facing more than one sexual harassment suit since then.
The younger Favre hasn’t been far from drama herself, in 1999, Brandi, her sister-in-law and another woman were booked with felony shoplifting.
In 1996, she was charged with unlawful use of a weapon in connection with a drive-by shooting in Lousiana.
She completed a program in Louisiana that allowed her criminal charges to be erased. She is still being held in custody and no statement from Brett Favre has been made.
