Bishop Eddie Long is opting for a private approach to dealing with the sexual-coercion charges facing him by former members of his church. The man who vowed to be vindicated in the court of Jesus and the court of law has turned to mediation. This is a savvy move, since mediations are “not for public consumption.” Neither the public nor members of his church will be able to hear the tawdry details of his alleged illicit, indecent and immoral affairs with minors at the time of the allegations. Does this mean that he’ll get to continue demonizing homosexuals and modeling “heterosexuality”? Let’s guess the next step: a settlement and a gag order
