From WTVR.com:

RICHMOND – Richmond Police arrest two men accused of stealing GPS units.

Police say the suspects were arrested after they approached two off-duty officers and tried selling them the stolen units.

Police say Officers Glendon Cox and Larry Boxley had just stepped outside of a restaurant on Hull Street when two men approached them and asked if they’d like to buy a GPS unit for $20.

Police say Officer Cox agreed and asked the men to wait while he grabbed his wallet. Police say Officer Cox instead grabbed his badge and gun and arrested the men on the spot.
