MC Hammer Takes Offense At Jay-Z Diss, Planning Retaliation Record [Video]
MC Hammer is a little bit upset with Jay-Z taking shots at him on Kanye West’s latest single “So Appalled” which also features Swizz Beatz, Pusha T, RZA and CyHi Da Prynce.
On the track Jigga spits,
“…And Hammer went broke so you know I’m more focused. I lost 30 mil so I spent another 30. Cause unlike Hammer 30 million can’t hurt me.”
The one-time crown wearer, Hammer, responded via Twitter about the remarks poking fun at his bankruptcy and his loss of $30 million:

Now in no way do I think Hammer can touch Jigga when it comes to being the king of tongue rasslin but I’ll bet everything that the 40-year-old Jay-Z is worth that the 48-year-old MC Hammer would kick Jay’s a** all around his beloved Madison Square Garden and all around Brooklyn and Marcy Projects if it came to a battle of fists.
Hip-Hop would be yelling “Please Hammer Don’t Hurt ‘Em” all over again. Too bad Hip-Hop ain’t reality… I’m so appalled.
