17-year-old Trayvon Martin was murdered in a Florida gated community, by Neighborhood Watch volunteer, George Zimmerman. The community and country is outraged by act. Reverend Al Sharpton has announced over his facebook and twitter, that he will travel to Sanford, Florida later on this week hold a rally for the Martin Family.
Last month, during the NBA All-Star weekend in Orlando, Trayvon went to visit his family in Sanford, Florida. During an break in the game, Trayvon decided to go the store to get some snacks. Seeing him walk through the neighborhood, George Zimmerman calls 911 and begins to trail Trayvon. After Zimmerman hangs up the phone with 911 another call comes in. This phone call however, wasn’t come from Zimmerman it came from another woman in the neighborhood. In the 911 phone call, the woman states she heard someone calling for help and gunshots.
Authorities have released the audio from the 911 calls. However, they haven’t gave any charges to George Zimmerman.
Hopefully, Justice will be served.
