Lil Wayne is finally free from prison and is going harder than ever in the studio.  “Wayne picked up right where he left off with a 15-hour recording session,” DJ Scoob Doo recently said. Just five days after his release from Rikers, Weezy spent over 15 hours in the studio recording his first verse in over nine months! He recorded at the legendary “Hit Factory” in Miami, Florida.

Since Lil Wayne has been free his colleges say he’s now writing down his raps.  Mack Maine, friend and president of Young Money, says while Wayne was incarcerated he started writing down his raps. We all know Wayne for lyrical ability to create genius songs and never write anything down.

“He’s writing. He’s writing music now. Everyone knows that Wayne didn’t write before he went in,” Maine said. “[He’s been] incarcerated for eight months. You can’t remember eight months of material up top.”
