Actor Blair Underwood is excited about his upcoming NBC-TV series “The Event”, a political thriller in which he plays the President of the United States, and he’s pushing for his hometown, Petersburg, Virginia to be the site of the premiere in September. NBC is agressively promoting the show, and they are offering several cities and towns across America the chance to have an exclusive premiere. Underwood, who still has family & friends in Petersburg, is hoping the city will be chosen.
