As NBA free agency heats up, some teams are trying to figure out who will coach their new acquisitions. Two teams now know.

Phil Jackson will return to L.A. to seek his 12th NBA Championship and fourth career three-peat. The Lakers have reached the NBA Finals during three straight season, and with Jackson back they seem to be the favorite to win it again, depending on whether any team is able to land the free agent trifecta of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.

In Cleveland, LeBron now knows that if he returns, he’ll be playing for Byron Scott. Scott last coached the New Orleans Hornets and won three NBA titles as a player. James had described his ideal coach as a no-nonsense coach with NBA playing experience, and Scott is just that, which certainly has to improve the chances of King James staying put in Cleveland.
