Ye’s Russia Concerts Officially Canceled

Ye was expected to perform two sold-out shows in St. Petersburg this October, but Gazprom Arena says no agreement was ever signed to host the concerts. The venue claims the events were organized by a separate Moscow-based promoter and that it never finalized a rental deal.
The promoter, Say Agency, disputes that version of events, saying it had official approval to move forward and only learned about the cancellation through social media. The conflicting statements have left fans wondering what happens next with their tickets.
The canceled shows would have marked Ye’s first performances in Russia and made him one of the first major Western artists to perform there since the country’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine.
