After months of speculation, Starz has officially greenlit Power: Legacy, the newest spinoff in the franchise and the next evolution of the story fans have followed for more than a decade.

Viewers already knew that Tariq St. Patrick and Tommy Egan would eventually reunite with plans to take control of New York City. Now, that storyline is officially moving forward as Power: Legacy prepares to continue the franchise’s legacy.

Starz President Kathryn Busby acknowledged the passion of the show’s fan base when discussing the announcement.

“The fans have spoken, and we listened. Power doesn’t die. It evolves with the audience,” Busby said.
