Man Who Stole Beyoncé’s Unreleased Music Sentenced

elvin Evans, the man tied to the 2025 theft of hard drives containing unreleased Beyoncé music, accepted a plea deal in Atlanta court this week. He was sentenced to five years, with two years to be served behind bars and the remainder on probation.
The stolen items reportedly included:
- unreleased, watermarked Beyoncé tracks
- tour set lists
- concert footage plans
- laptops and other valuables
The materials were taken from a rental vehicle belonging to Beyoncé’s choreographer and dancer during the Cowboy Carter tour stop in Atlanta.
Investigators used tracking data from stolen electronics, including AirPods and laptops, to connect Evans to the case. Despite the arrest and sentencing, reports say the unreleased music and hard drives still have not been recovered.
Beyoncé’s vault remains missing — but the man accused of taking it is officially headed to prison.
