Kodak Black Arrested on Drug Trafficking Charges

The Florida rapper, born Bill Kapri, turned himself in to authorities this week after being hit with a felony MDMA trafficking charge tied to an investigation stemming from a November 2025 incident in Orlando.
According to reports, police were responding to gunfire near a children’s education center when they encountered luxury vehicles connected to Kodak. During a search, investigators say they discovered MDMA, cash, and personal items allegedly tied to the rapper.
Kodak has reportedly pleaded not guilty and requested a jury trial. His attorney Bradford Cohen is already pushing back against the case, arguing the charges have a “weak legal basis” and insisting Kodak was not in possession of the drugs when officers searched the vehicles.
The arrest adds to Kodak Black’s long history of legal issues, including prior weapons and drug-related cases.
From chart success to courtroom battles, Kodak Black once again finds himself fighting headlines outside of music.
