Offset Pays $1.5M Toward Tax Debt Amid Divorce

Last year, Cardi B claimed Offset wouldn’t sign off on their divorce unless she covered his tax bill. Now, Us Weeklyreports the rapper has paid $1,575,266.73 tied to his 2022 taxes.
Per the outlet, the IRS released a lien on December 26, 2025, after the payment. The lien was originally filed April 3, 2024. With this payoff, Offset’s overall tax liability has been substantially reduced; Us adds that remaining liens total $778,426.
Neither Offset nor Cardi has commented on how the payment impacts their ongoing divorce proceedings.
Big chunk cleared, balance pending: Offset’s tax tab is smaller, but not gone.
