Lawsuit Accuses Donnie McClurkin of Grooming Ex-Assistant

According to CBS News, Giuseppe Corletto filed suit in New York state court alleging that Donnie McClurkingroomed and abused him over several years beginning in the early 2000s.
Corletto says he first met McClurkin in 2003 after attending an event at the pastor’s Long Island church. What he believed was mentorship allegedly turned into coercive “spiritual sessions,” with the abuse escalating as Corletto worked as McClurkin’s assistant and traveled with him.
The complaint references an alleged incident in 2013 at a Niagara Falls hotel and cites an apology email McClurkin purportedly sent afterward, in which he called himself a “dirty old man.” CBS News reports the lawsuit includes quotes from that message.
McClurkin has not publicly responded to the lawsuit as of press time.
