Damon Dash Hit with New $10M Lawsuit by Filmmaker Josh Webber

A year after a court ordered Damon Dash to sell his stake in Roc-A-Fella following Josh Webber’s earlier lawsuit, the feud is back in court. According to AllHipHop, Webber filed a new $10 million complaint in Los Angeles federal court against Dash and The Dash Group (which Dash operates with Raquel Horn).
The suit alleges defamation, interference with business relations, and false statements, claiming Dash repeatedly and publicly branded Webber a criminal and tied him to racketeering—accusations Webber calls baseless. Webber says those remarks scared off investors and wrecked a lucrative deal.
At the center of the filing: Webber contends he had a $10 million agreement in August 2025 to direct and produce a film titled TORN, but the deal unraveled weeks later after Dash’s comments allegedly torpedoed financing.
Dash has not publicly responded to the new complaint as of press time.
Another legal chapter in a long-running rivalry—this time with an eight-figure price tag. We’ll update if Dash or his team respond.
