Two Critically Hurt in East End Shooting Near Lucks Field
Two people were rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a shooting erupted near Lucks Field in Richmond’s East End on Saturday night, according to Crime Insider sources.
Police were first called to the 1400 block of Rogers Street around 8:50 p.m. for reports of random gunfire. Minutes later, the call escalated into an active shooting. Witnesses described chaos in the area as people ran for safety and a sedan’s windows were shattered by gunfire near Rogers and 20th streets.
Major Crimes detectives are now leading the investigation. No suspect information has been released, and details remain limited as authorities work to piece together what happened.
