Could Spirit Airlines Be Taking It’s Final Landing

Spirit Airlines is still stuggling to sustain operations despite emerging from bankruptcy and cutting nearly $795 million in debt through equity conversion.
A combination of low passenger demand on certain flights and engine-related operational disruptions may be contributing factors to the airline’s ongoing challenges.
In response, Spirit plans to pivot by introducing a premium economy option, furloughing hundreds of pilots and considering asset sales.
However, analysts warn that if additional capital or turnaround efforts fail, the airline risks ceasing operations within the next 12 months.
In my opinion, although Spirit often catches strays—whether from customer complaints, employee behavior or even controversies like its updated dress code policy—we can admit Spirit Airlines has been clutch when it comes to offering convenient, affordable flights. Has your experience with Spirit really been so bad that you could see the airline shutting down for good?
