Birth in Color RVA is a birth, policy, and advocacy non-profit focused on raising awareness and providing culturally-centered support for birthing black women. Our Birth Workers empower expectant mothers throughout the birthing process with techniques like massage and acupressure and provide emotional and educational support throughout. Birth Worker support has been linked to better parenting and higher satisfaction throughout the process. We work with couples and families to ensure a safe delivery and support them so they can make the best decisions for their children.
