BLACK PRIDE RVA – Black Pride RVA exists to foster healthy connections with Black LGBTQ communities through education, empowerment and social engagement.  Black Pride weekend in Richmond is taking place July 16th – 19th this year and it’s all virtual.  So be sure to follow Black Pride RVA on social media and on www.blackpriderva.com – To get involved with Black Pride RVA and Us-Giving-Richmond-Connections also known as UGRC, the non-profit host of this event visit their website at www.blackpriderva.com – Black Pride RVA “Where Community Matters.”

SIDE BY SIDE – is dedicated to creative supportive communities where Virginian’s LGBTQ plus youth can define themselves, belong and flourish.  If you’re a Black LGBTQ youth between the ages of 11 and 25, let Side by Side know your needs by filing out their online survey.  The information will help Side by Side expand their services and programs.  You’re invited to attend the LGBTQ Plus Youth of Color Group Meetings on Mondays from 6:30pm-8:30pm.   Visit www.sidebysideva.org

NATIONZ FOUNDATION – was organized to provide education and information related to HIV prevention and overall health & wellness.  Their offices are located on the bus line at 4794 Finlay Street, Suite 1 in Richmond, VA.  Office hours are Monday through Friday 10am-6pm and every 4th Saturday, 10am-1pm.  June 27th is National HIV Testing Day.  Knowing your HIV status lets you take charge of your health!  Call (804) 716-7597 today to schedule your confidential appointment and get tested.
